Dear Students and Parents,
We value learning, both within and beyond the classroom. Our Horizons Week encapsulates everything that we believe in as a school. The week is built on a strong partnership between students, staff and external service providers; it is a week full of exciting learning opportunities; it encourages everyone to develop the spirit to meet great challenge head on and students gain a wonderful sense of personal achievement from their endeavours. All this from an educational experience that develops the whole person through creative, active and empathetic engagement with the world around us.
All students are asked to select 3 experiences; note that the three options selected must all be equally valid choices and students must be happy with participating in any of the 3 selected. Students will not be able to change their minds once the 3 choices have been submitted. Please note: Horizons Week registration has now moved to WISDOM.
Included in this year's programme:
Please read carefully the 2019 Horizons Week Policy. If you are in receipt of any financial allowances from the school, please refer to my email sent to you.
I invite you now to look at the proposed experiences for 2019. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
